At the deli, owner Phil Jahnke Sauer showcases his skill for creating scratch-made offerings and passion for sourcing high-quality, local foods. A firm believer in the democratization of the farm-to-table movement, Phil strives to keep food simple, affordable and delicious.

scratch-made bread 

& local ingredients

All bread at the deli is made from scratch each day. Our signature sandwich roll is a unique take on common peasant-style bread, featuring a mix of King Arthur and Meadowlark Organics (Ridgeway, Wisconsin) flours. It's rich, slightly tangy taste comes from a light sourdough starter.

Local and regional sourcing is at the heart of what we do. We are privileged to live in the fertile Midwest, with an abundance of dedicated farmers, producers and suppliers. We are committed to source locally and regionally (MN/WI/IA) grown and produced products as possible.
